Building climate resilience in water and wastewater networks
For the third year, Rheticus participated at the World Water-Tech Innovation Summit, one of the most important international events where utilities, engineering companies, and technology providers share their experiences, needs, and solutions. Joining the event as a Silver partner, Rheticus Network Alert team is contributing to accelerating innovation and investment in the water and wastewater industry.
The World Water Tech Innovation Summit in London brought together 400+ utilities, regulators, engineering firms, technology giants, start-ups, and investors to share ideas and collaborate towards building a climate resilient water and wastewater sector through networking, live debates and group discussions.
The Rheticus team had the opportunity to talk about how satellite technology plays a crucial role in improving predictive maintenance activities and simplifying the network assessment process.
At the roundtable debate “’Asset Management: Satellite Technology Driving Efficiency & Maintenance Performance”, followed by the main international utilities, Sergio Samarelli, CTO of Planetek Italia and Andrea Aliscioni, COO of Metropolitana Milanese (MM SpA) discussed about how Rheticus Network Alert allows utilities to simplify the network assessment process and how the Earth observation technology and the contribution given by the satellite monitoring services is becoming crucial in the utility sector.
By sharing best practice from around the globe, showcasing new technologies, and facilitating new partnerships, the World Water-Tech has established itself as an essential water forum for international stakeholders focused on advancing the commercialisation of advanced water and wastewater solutions.
